Hi,

I'm using 2 Pioneer CDJ350's to control decks C and D on my system.

Using the CDJs, I want to be able to move through various hot cues that I have set in the track.

At the moment, I'm having to fast foward thorugh the track to get to the hot cue I want to use.

Ideally I would like to use the time mode button and the rotary selector (holding down time code button while I turn the rotary to the left for going back a hot cue and turning right for going forward a hot cue).

How do I MIDI map that? I've yet to find a youtube video showing how it's done in terms of using 2 encoders for 1 function.

Thanks

You can use the mapping command 'jump to next/prev cue/loop' with the rotary (relative mode - 100%).

Map a modifier not in use to the time mode button (mode: hold, value: 1) and use this modifer (value: 1) as a modifier condition for the rotary encoder's command.

Alright, 4 months later and I finally get round to trying to set it up.

    1. Clicked learn
    2. Pushed the Time Mode button on the CDJ350
    3. It populated Ch04.Note.D0
    4. I selected Button for the type of controller but I don't get the option for hold, just Direct, Inc and Dec as shown in the pic.
    5. I don't get hold no matter what 'type of controller' I select.

    What am I missing/doing wrong?

You need to map the button to a modifier:

Then for the rotary knob mapping, select the right modifier and value under Modifier Conditions.

Any other mappings for the rotary knob should have the same condition with a value of 0, to ensure it doesn't trigger those mappings while holding the time mode button.

    Thanks Erik.

Ok, so this is what I have done now.

This picture is of the current rotary settings on the CD5350

This picture is how I have set up the Time Mode button on the CDJ350

When I hold the Time Code button and turn the rotary selector, it just does the scrolling through the tree, which it did already.

With your current mapping, holding down Time Code will temporarily set modifier 6 to 1. So your modifier conditions for Select Up/Down should be M6=0.
