Auto Select Midi Notes after recording

Hi

This is more of a 'DAW' question possibly, I use Logic Pro X.

After recording midi parts, is there a way to 'auto select' the midi notes in the piano editor?

I'd like to record and then hit 'quantize' from my MK2 keyboard, but find I always have to select all the midi notes via the software 1st, which defeats the workflow of using the quantize button on the keyboard (once I've selected all the midi notes using the DAW sofware, I then just quantize from the DAW too).

Thanks.

Yep...definitely in the domain of the DAW. This is commonly the default setup for some DAWs like Ableton and there may be a default setting in your DAW as well. The MK2 and KK has no knowledge of whether it's being recorded in a DAW or just alone through KK. Those transport controls are just the same as the transport controls in your DAW.

Thanks Dubeindragon, agree its a DAW question really, but hoping someone here might know how to change the default setting, given others with a KK keyboard might have already figured it out as part of the work flow.
