My MK3 Kontrol 49 keyboard stuck in DAW midi Template mode

I am having issues with my Mk3 49 not responding to midi, i have tried numerous midi in out routings within Ableton live 11 to no avail, I have connected the USB C cable to different ports to no avail, I have reinstalled Kontakt, Komplete Kontrol and Ableton Live ,I have checked drivers etc., Does anyone know how to reinstall the hardware connection app or have any idea what could be happening ?

The first thing is to check the version of Ableton because it has to be at the right version level for everything to work. Mine is on version 11.3.21 which is the latest build (non beta). Next check your audio output and driver under preferences to make you're producing audio using the Test button. Select MIDI preferences and make sure you have the MK3 appropriately selected in the appropriate control surface, input and output columns and that you have the Track column checked (enabled) for input in the MIDI ports.

If you have done all of that and you're not working you need to run Komplete Kontrol standalone to see if there's a problem with your basic installation working outside of Ableton.
