Hi.

I'm trying to slide E string from 5th fret down, but all I get is sustain.

I press sustain pedal down before I want the slide to happen and I can slide notes up and down when not playing back through piano roll.

Thanks for any help!

@valtanen This is taken from the manual, section 4.4

Slides are available in two, for some strings three, different speeds. To trigger a slide play a note legato while holding the sustain pedal pressed. If you played a short slide of one or two semitones the slide will end automatically. For longer slides you need to press the target note once again when you want the slide to end.

If it’s not possible to slide the played interval without going outside of the available frets, a sustain will be used instead.

Could it be that the note tyou're trying to slide to is not possible? What note are you tring to achieve with this slide?

    Thanks for the response!

I was struggling with the sustain pedal timing of the slide, but I managed to slide notes from A3 to E3.

I'm no pianist, so I added the sustain pedal manually through piano roll parameters.

But when I slide and jump back to the riff start, the DAW crashes. I guess I need to contact their support about the case.

Ouch! If you can try to reproduce the issue in Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt in standalone, we can check if the problem is on our side or not.

Apparently the problem occurs when you spam different notes randomly in quick succession while holding the sustain pedal down also in Kontakt standalone. May be something about slide not completing to the end before playing another note.

I contacted Image-Line customer service about this before I managed to reproduce it in standalone Kontakt. They said that they are open for testing or communication for any bugs that are unclear or if you need help from their side.

I have a video of the bug behavior but I can't put it here because I'm too new here.

@valtanen Can you reproduce the issue in a small FL Studio project, zip it and post it here? it'll be easier to repro, thanks.
