G2 and D3 MIDI keys not transmitting after installing Kontakt 7

Hmmm.

When I first downloaded the Kontakt bundle, I installed some of the software that I likely don't need, such as Komplete Kontrol. I don't need it because I don't have any NI hardware that needs controlling. But is it possible that Kontrol inserts code for key-switching into the midi data chain, and that's what caused my two notes to misfire?

Glad you finally got your issue resolve, that was definitely and interesting one. Sad that Logic was the culprit. If I had a nickle for every Logic issue posted in this forum....

The final update:

I reinstalled Kontakt and found no further problems.

Ahead, the daunting task of learning Kontakt. I still feel I've barely scratched the surface of Logic!
