Battery and Shared User Folder

After updating to Ventura 13.6.1, I can't get Battery to located my user folder containing previously installed expansions. I'm seeing various workarounds for "missing files" but my issue is different. Expansion kits are saved to external samples drive. Within Battery, User tab is empty when Kits or Samples is selected. Can access files via the raw Files tab but navigating through documentation, groups, etc folders is not useful. User>Shared Kits are not available anywhere as they were before updating OS. When "library" tab is selected, I see factory kits but none of the previously installed expansions.

That said, I downloaded newer expansions earlier today (to the same external location) and I see various preset folders (for example, Anima Ascent All Claps Kit, Anima Ascent All ClosedHH Kit, etc....screen shot attached) but not the Anima Ascent Kit. This is the case for all expansion installed today. These newly installed expansions are located along with previously installed expansions, externally, via LIBRARIES>User>Shared.

Essentially, I have all the expansion libraries saved externally together in the same location but Battery is no longer loading them as before. Have tried in standalone mode.

Don't want to move this libraries to my OS drive either.

What am I missing here? Thanks

I have tried EditPreferences>User tab>Add>navigated to external drive folder>Rescan (nothing happens)>Close. this not affect anything.

and my overall NI content path is directed to the same external drive folder...
