Saving loops for playback
I’ve set up a loop at the end of a track in Traktor Pro. However, when the play marker reaches the loop it is not activated and plays through it as though the loop isn’t there. I’ve set it up on a cue button, which lights up green as it should. I have to press the cue button at the end of the loop to start it from the cue point of the loop. Once I’ve done this it then loops until deactivated. Is there a more efficient method than this? Although the cue markers are there the loop isn’t activated unless I hit the cue button it’s saved to.

There is a Traktor function called 'Active Loop'. If this is set to 'ON', the next saved loop (either a 'Hot Loop' with a number or the current floating loop) will activate automatically when the needle enters it.
On the S4 this is done by pressing the move encoder, in the software, look for the button 'Active'. You can also map the command to a button or key.
