@tetsuneko If you have time and wish please test attached project. You need to configure routing to your external devices and assign presets on them in similarity to group/sound names.

The project contains 16 groups routed to external MIDI. Ten of them (A1, B1, C1, E1, H1, A2, B2, C2, D2, E2) contain one pattern each, combined into single song section. Please be aware of sounds in groups B2, C2, E2 having some transposition applied for drum mapping to HW synth notes.

Feel free to ask questions if you encounter any difficulties.

Yeah no that’s not an equivalent comparison. It’s only equivalent if you are using the Maschine+laptop and only using the stock effects and devices that the M+ has. If you’re saying you like the laptop option because you wanna run all kinds of 3rd party VSTs, then that’s an entirely different discussion and is not the function of the M+

I tend to weigh things in terms of value and functionality... that is whats important in my eyes

if i weighted things based on portability+functionality or again portability+value... i would still come to the same conclusion, needless to say the CPU on the m1 mac mini runs rings around Atom inside the M+...

whichever way i look at it... the comparison is night and day to me
