Help! My Maschine Mikro 3 is MIA as a MIDI Device

Just opened my new Maschine Mikro 3 and it seems to work okay with the Maschine 2 software but as a MIDI device it's "invisible." Doesn't show up in Device Manager and in Reason it's not available for "MIDI Input." It's not clear whether I'm supposed to install a driver and, if so, which one. The Drivers page is confusing at best. I want to (initially) play the pads and have them trigger drums sounds in Reason. Thanks for any guidance you can provide!
