Stereo panning disappears in Pro Tools stereo instrument track with Kontakt instrument.

New to this, so please be patient. When I load a Kontakt instrument into Stereo Instrument track, the panning pots in the mixer disappear. I seem to lose the stereo ability for these instruments. Don't have the same issue with other Midi instruments. Thanks for any help someone might provide.

Hmm...so...you are saying you don't have the panning feature when you load Kontakt?

Do you have a separate panning or channel plugin, like KiloHearts Channel Mixer, which is free btw?

thanks. I just use parsonic interface for the Midi input. All other Midi instruments load stereo.

Yeah, but what I meant is do you have a panning plugin that you can install on the internet for free?

Let me know if I missed something.

No. I'm not sure why I would need that since Pro Tools has panning ability. Again I'm a little new to Kontakt. Thanks for taking the time to help with this.

    No problem.

If the feature for panning or volume gets lost and if you want more quickly to use those features, I suggest you insert the effects instead.

These have the same algorhythm and purpose just like regular volume and panning effect!

    Enjoy your composing!

Not sure what happens in your ProTools but even with a Kontakt 7 loaded in ProTools, the panning is still there:
