Some instruments don't work in Lores--any solutions?

I've noticed some instruments like the medieval pipes and the vocals tend to not work with my midi keyboard in Lores. The expression is all the way up and my keyboard is fine. I noticed I can play those instruments manually with my cursor with the on screen keyboard, but for some reason those particular instruments don't want to work with my midi keyboard.

Any solutions?
