Maschine 2 and Sampletank 4

I just purchased the Sampletank 4 MAX v2 monotony of a "DAW"? and I was wondering how to / if i can use it as a plugin in Maschine 2? (took me a week to download and unzip everything)

To expand a bit on what Kymeia said:

In regards to instruments Maschine/KK shows you NKS presets, some 3rd party companies are 'NKS Partners' and install them automatically, while others don't make them. When they don't you either :

• Create your own NKS presets.
• Find them online somewhere for free and install.
• Or... Buy them.

If you just want to load the Plugin then just do this:

Then find Sample Tank and it will load...

You can then click the same place and select Save-As to save whatever the default preset for ST is, then it will show in your Maschine USER Browser.

It's a plugin, so sure you can. Install it and load it to a Pad.

It has the ability to load more than one instrument, like Kontakt multis, I'd avoid that and just load an instrument per pad/instance of Sampletank unless you want to route the MIDI out of empty Pads to the Pad containing Sampletank to control multi-instruments and use separate MIDI channels... but this is a bit of a more complicated approach, i'd start with the basics first unless you have experience.

i see, but my problem lies previous to that, I cant get it to load at all, im probably going to sound as dumb as ,....well me, but I can see Sampletank in the plugins tab in preferences, but not in the actual browser, not in instruments, sounds, loops, not anywhere. help?

You won’t, it’s a plugin so you load it like other plugins.

I think FreelanceSoundlabs offer a NKS expansion though for Sampletank which would enable you to load patches from the browser but Sampletank by default isn’t a NKS instrument

Wow, I put the New in Noobie, that is probably very rudimentary , and I have a lot of learning to do in Maschine, my apologies. Thank you both very much.
