Compability of Kontakt 7 on old Macbook Pro

Hi,

I recently bought an old work horse MacBook Pro from 2012 that works great.

MacOS Catalina 10.15.7, 16 GB DDR3, 2,3 GHz Quad-Core Intel i7.

It runs Ableton Standard very smoothly, and it runs Komplete Kontrol in Ableton very smoothly, like Super 8 and Prime Bass. But upon opening 40s keys, it says that my Kontakt version is too old. I have both Kontakt and Kontakt 7 installed. Am I unfortunate enough to not be able to run 40s own on this hardware? A tad disappointed if so.

    I would recommend uninstalling old Kontakt 6 and updating k7.

    Maybe that should solve the issue.

    And I understand how you feel.

    Most of the companies do not support backwards compatibility, which means you should always stay updated.

    You know what they say:

    Adapt or die.
