Rename sample in Maschine 2

Hello everybody.

I imported a voice sample into maschine 2. I divided the sentence into several parts, by copying/pasting the sample then moving the play cursor over each part.

The problem is when I want to rename the different pads with the words sung (example: Pad 1 = hello, Pad 2 = I'am, Pad 3 = John), Maschine 2 always renames the 3 pads at the same time with the last one modification made. To make sure I'm clear, when I rename Pad 2 "I'am", Pad 1 and 3 will also take that name. Which means that in my sample folder (on my HDD), I do not have 3 distinct audio files but only one audio file which changes name.

I specify that I make my change in the "metadata" bar and not in the "Pad" section.

I hope this isn't too confusing.

That's the file name. Truncate the section and it will create a new file. Rename the new file.
