Why Does It Do This?

I'm using Traktor Pro 3 on Mac High Sierra with Audio 2 mk2, Kontrol X1 mk2 and a pair of CDJ-350's which all play via a 4 channel DJ Mixer.

I have Traktor set up as 4 decks. Audio 2 controls decks A and B, the CDJ's control C and D

Whenever I open Traktor and load a tack into decks A and B, I have to adjust the Audio 2 because deck A will not play any sound via the mixer (the deck in Traktor works as normal, display moves, etc) and deck B will play out of 2 channels on the mixer at the same time.

I have to adjust the Audio 2 left volume (which is the 'main' volume) up which makes deck A play on one channel and deck B play on one channel.

Why do I have to do this every time, I never used to. The only things that have changed since are, I've moved house 🤷‍♂️ and fitted a different USB PCI.

I know this is a first world problem and going to sound whiney but it's really annoying to have to do this every time due to how my setup is 😅

Updating Traktor has not resolved the issue either.

This does not sound like a software issue, if I understand you correctly - if you seem to need to "blow the soundcard free" with a boost of volume, that sounds to me like a bad contact somewhere in the analog part of the system (probably in the sound card or mixer, I don't think I can tell which from what you wrote). try replacing either part with something else to narrow it down, perhaps?

Audio 2 did glitch like a loose cable was plugged in so I replaced the USB cable going into it.

I've recorded a short video that might give a better view of what happens every time I start Traktor. - Turns out I can't post links in here, something to do with being around longer 🤷‍♂️

This was the process I did when first setting it up and never had to do it again unless I disconnected the Audio 2
