MOTU Mach5 Patches conversion

Hi,

I used to be able to easily import MOTU Mach5 Patches in Kontakt 5.

Now this features seems to be missing in Kontakt 6 and 7.

Anybody is able to import/convert patches from other samplers in Kontakt 6 and 7?

    Dear Andrea,

    as far as I know, from my experience, these features are actually erased completely. (take a grain of salt)

    Another feature that was erased in nearly every instrument was editing the sounds of the NI instruments.

    In Factory Library from Kontakt 5 and all other instruments, editing a note was possible just by clicking in an icon that looks like a 'bolt' (I think), and boom...you could edit the instruments, and even insert samples and patches inside your own instrument or in NI-made library!

    In Kontakt 7 however...it is Thanos-snapped for most of the instruments.

    Now all you can do is to use automation, or if you want to put more effects, just click on the View, then Outputs, and on one of the 4 triangles, click on one of them to insert an effect.

    I feel sorry for you and even I was shocked when I couldn't edit the instruments or even add patches to an already made library in Kontakt 7 like you...

    I understand that feeling.

    As I recall it was removed along with several other import formats because NI and Chicken Systems, who provided the conversion tools, went their separate ways. I don’t think it was entirely NI just deciding not to import them, they licensed the import tech from Chicken Systems

    Importing other formats was dropped after Kontakt 5.
