Audio blocking during DJ sets
Hi everyone, I have been using Traktor S4 mk3 for 5 years. With the latest version 3.10.1 16 during the DJ set the audio suddenly stops. This happened with the old controller and old Macbook with Intell i5 processor. I purchased a new S4 Mk3 controller and a new MacBook with M2 processor, but the tractor continues to block audio output. This does not happen when the DJ set starts, but after about 2/3 hours of work. The controller continues to communicate normally with the PC but the sound no longer comes out. Who can give me help? I'm desperate, I spent more money in vain. Thanks to those who answer me

Audio from where? Tracks on your hard drive? Streamed tracks?
Does the sound stop permanently or just cut out for a short time?

External audio in speakers and headphones. The sound stops permanently

I'm asking where the audio is coming from, not where it's going to.
Are you playing files from your hard drive? What format are the files?
Are you playing files from a streaming service? Which service?

I am producing from external hard disk and music from folders on the Desktop. All files are mp3 and are files that have always been used in the past. I have been using the configuration of my files for years and before reaching the Traktor 3.10.1 version I never had any interruption problems.

Had a similar issue on my first gig with my new S4MK3. Before i used a S3. Problem came up after 3h. Deck B played only with 50% Volume. Additionaly the club sound system got some issues. We tried around to got it to work again. During this, the master volume of S4MK3 gone completely off. Restart had not solved the problem.
We where forced to play with a backup laptop without Traktor, with VLC. So i could play the hole gig, without mixing. At home i tried to figure out what the real problem is. I noticed (of course i knew but not in the moment) the hardware knobs for the crossfader. And they was set. I never used crossfader and with the S3 it was disabled via Traktor. Now the S4MK3 sets the crossfader via the knobs. During the club gig i dont realized this. Appaerently the crossfader was moved in any way twice during the troubleshooting with the sound sytem. In the last days i played for testing several times 5-6 h without any issues.
Conclusion: know your equipment!
PS: no Mac, a new Windows Laptop
