Kontakt 7 Crashed in FL Studio, not in standalone

I just installed Kontakt. It seems to work well in the standalone application but in FL Studio 21, it crashes pretty quickly.

The repro steps I found that are very consistent are:

1 - Start FL Studio, load Kontakt 7 in to the channel track

2 - Open Kontakt 7 and Select "Action Strikes"

3 - Hold a key (for example C4) to play a sequence

4 - While its playing, change the Ensemble back and forth.

5 - It will crash after 1-5 times of swapping with a new one

It doesn't seem to crash on Kontak6 in FL Studio 21, but for a lot of reasons, I don't want to use that one, including that I just paid a bunch of money and the window size doesn't scale.

Happy to provide more details if anyone has any ideas!

PC Info:

Windows 10 (ran updates yesterday in attempt to fix)

Intel Core i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50 GHz

NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 (updated drivers yesterday in attempt to fix)

16 Gb RAM

2 NVMe SSDs. The second one is a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB which is where I install all my plugins

Audio Device listed in FL Studio - FL Studio ASIO, no custom hardware

@ChewableCosine It looks like this reported bug. This seems to be happening in most libraries that involve updating the sample pool on the fly: Kontakt 7 crashes in FlStudio21 Please Help!

The bug has been filed and our devs are looking into it. Please follow the linked thread.

The Kontakt 7 repeatedly crashing in FL Studio has not been fixed since being reported in 2022, Native Instruments very clearly don't care. Thousands of people have reported it by now and I have personally reported dozens of times. Out of all of the instrument vendors out there I chose to spend 80% of my money (which is thousands of pounds) with Native Instruments because Kontakt 6 was the current version at the time and it worked flawlessly without any problems at all, then kontakt 7 was created which has turned my production process into a living nightmare, I don't do this for a hobby either I own a music production business which gets a lot of customers.

Native Instruments just simply don't care, such as shame because you were my favourite instrument and plugin company but due to this error and your inability to take it seriously and fix it even after years of having it reported, is not good and my opinion of you has changed. Such a shame that I decided to spend thousands of pounds with you and then have my instruments forced to work only on kontakt 7 which is unusable do to the continuous crashing.

Say no big words and have patience. Development is a hard and demanding work and solutions might take long time to be solved. It is not like "we make pizza" or something.

Install version 7.8.1 (released today) and it should fix your issue.

@CA1252 What bug do you mean? Do you have a bug number? Community thread? The bug mentioned here that was fixed in Kontakt's last update was quite specific.
