Kontakt ADSR Envelope Attack Curve

Hi all,
I'm having trouble understanding how exactly the attack curve (and following that the release curve) works. When I set the curve to zero, I can see a linear curve from zero to one. But is that in dB or "gain" (the actual mathematical value -- where 0 is -infDb, 1 is 0dB and 0.5 is -6dB etc.).
Would be great if someone could explain that to me :)
Thanks in advance!
Best, Rincewind

Depends on what is being modulated. I think for volume it's actually -18 dB at 50% (based on how Sustain parameter is scaled). Otherwise it's properly linear (i.e. when modulating pitch).
