Guitar Rig 7 is only available as VST3 plugin, not a VST2. So if Reason supports VST3, then yes, Guitar Rig 7 should work.

Does the Player Version also Work?

    Reason supports vst3.

Yes, the only difference between Player, LE and PRO is the number of components (amps, effects, etc.) that are available inside of Guitar Rig.

WIN. I tried the compressor from the Starter Pack, this one installed a DLL. File in the vst 64 bit folder. When my reason starts it acceses this folder and i can use the compressor.

But i don't know where the corresponding folder for guitar Rig can bei found. Is it also a DLL. File?

VST3 plugins are to be found in the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 on Windows and they have the file extension .vst3

Sorry, it dosen't work. It seems like reason can't read the file format vst3.

At least I Copy the vst3 File in the Same folder like the dll- File of the compressor.

The compressor ist still working, guitar Rig failed. Do I need a DLL File ?

    Any ideas ???

Yes it can but they need to be in the VST3 folder you were given the path to above, not the VST2 folder which you seem to have copied it into for some reason

I selected the vst3 folder. I' ll check it tomorrow morning once more,

Cause i can't believe that IT doesen't Work.

Shortly I found out what a cool option guitar rig is. Shortly I bought the newest Version of

Reason, it would be pretty cool, If it will work.

I thought about to buy the full Version of guitar rig.

Reason supports VST3 hosting since version 12.5, so it should work

    https://help.reasonstudios.com/hc/en-us/articles/9068790858770-Reason-12-5-with-VST3-support-released-

Please refer to the Reason manual on how to load VST3 plugins there.
