Hello, iam new, and i have some beginer difficultys.

I started Maschine 2, and connected my Maschine MK3 Controller, and my A49 Keyboard.

If a select a drum kit in Maschine MK3, it also plays at the keyboard. I cant use different Instruments for each controller.

The next: Cubase 12, connected both, if i start a record, the keyboard is recorded, but not the maschine controller.. I can hear the sound, but it doesnt record anything. If i use the maschine as instrument for the controller, its the same, and on the keyboard and on the maschine mk3 are the same instruments again. Could somebody assist??

    Hello,

in cubase you simply set maschine or the keyboard as midi input source, standard is "all midi inputs", that´s why it always sends both to the selected track. You then only have to either switch maschine into midi mode or use one instance of maschine as midi source, that way you can use note repeat and all scales and stuff. You have to set on the "control" maschine one pad - sound - output midi to host, you can even do this with more pads if you want. If you have a maschine as receiver you have to set pad or group midi in to host, depending on your needs - or just use maschine in midi mode, that´s the easy way but maybe not the best.
