Bumping q re Arturia instruments in KK

Saw a year-old discussion of this, but nothing newer. So I thought I'd give it a "bump."

I'm running Logic Pro X 10.8.

Licensed owner of Arturia V Collection 9.

Running Kontakt 7.7 and Komplete Kontrol 3.0.2.

Using a Komplete S88M2 keyboard.

When I open either KK or Kontakt as a plugin in LPX, my Arturia instruments all show up, and the preset lists appear and play their little previews.

But, when I try to load one, I get:

I read but will admit to having not completely understood the earlier thread about VST2/VST3 "migration". Am interested if there's any newer info out there, or for a clearer, more-step-by-step description of how to get past the issue.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Did you install the VST3 versions? All Arturia products are now 100% compatible so 'migration' is a thing of the past, their NKS just work with VST3. Make sure your Arturia plugins are uptodate and that VST3 is selected as an option to install, as well as NKS patches of course.

I've had this happen to me several times on my M2 Studio, but I haven't been able to figure out the exact issue. I usually just reinstall the instrument from the Arturia Software Center and then rescan and that usually fixes. It's not frequent, but it happens enough to be annoying.

I just checked and B3 V-2 is working fine in KK for me.

Part of the problem is ASC 'silent installs' as if the user did not set NKS (or VST3) to install the first time they ran an Arturia installer, it just follows that setting for everything else. So you have to turn silent installs off to change the install defaults, then back on again. That catches a few people out.

@vertint01 Does that happen when you try to open old projects, possibly made on an Intel Mac?

Have you tried to reinstall the Arturia Plug-ins with the extra tip from @Kymeia ?
