How to load Multi instruments in K7

I am not sure if this is a issue, however in K6 when loading instruments in multi view, they would load one at a time. In K7, loading a new instrument replaces the one I am previewing. I tried checking all of the options. The only one I see is to 'Merge new multi with existing one.' Even with that box checked, one instance will be replaced with another. Is there another setting I am missing? Still works in K6. Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated. I am not using 'outputs' If I need to do that instead please let me know.

When you are in rack view, try dragging and dropping the NKI into the blank space below your already loaded instrument. You might have to scroll down to reveal some empty space first
