User Libraries all show up under "Native Instruments" brand

(Didn't find any similar posts on initial search so sorry if this is a duplicate)

When added through the Preferences UI, all of my non-Player Kontakt instruments are being shown under the "native instruments" brand even though the brand/author are set to the appropriate vendor. When I register them under "NI Resources" they display the brand properly, however in order to get them to show up I have to manually create presets from scratch. Interestingly enough, if I save custom images under the NI Resources page, the app renders them, but it doesn't appear to be reading from the dist_database properly.

It would be very helpful if the app would 1 - read the brand / author from the instrument properly and index the instruments based on their dist_database configuration.
