I'm new to NI and Maschine Mikro Mk3. After installing everything I noticed this. Everything seems to be working, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something as to why the ! is there. It doesnt' say any errors, and if I hit browse it goes to that directory.

    It's a bug in NA2, don't worry about it.

Supposedly it should be a warning something is wrong but it always shows even when there's no problem at all, has been a bug for a long time.

    Dear Trekkie,

It means that there is either a bug going around, or maybe that this symbol means that this folder might not be a good place for your application location

I also had that issue once, but it's not a big deal.

You can just create a custom file for your instruments or files.

I hope this can be of help.

It is a warning sign, indicates that something is wrong, missing etc.

In your case, the default application location... so, click "browse" and point to the correct location ;-)

Yet, as you wrote, you did browse and nothing happened, so, maybe you are using an old version of Native Access? if that's the case, please update it to the latest version

Another reason for the red mark is that, while you are using the correct location, the software can not access it, because of permission rights. If this is the case, check this article:

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13712583860125-Native-Access-Error-Please-grant-permission-to-Native-Access-to-install-dependencies-

Another thing you must do, is to edit your post and change the photo ASAP! ...it shows your login details, and you should never put such details online!
