Kontrol S4 Defective USB Ports

Hi All,
I recently bought a Kontrol S4 and was disappointed to find a defective USB port that wouldn't let the cable release after plugging in. Essentially, once you plug in the cable on the rear of the controller, it doesn't come out. Thinking it might be an isolated issue, I exchanged it, but the replacement had the same problem. I'm based on the East Coast.
Has anyone else experienced this with their controller?
