Why might the Note-in block seem to respond intermittently?

Good Morning,
"It's achievable, but we can't expect it to 'just work'. You need to develop a workflow and understand where all the gotchas are". Well stated and that is exactly why I'm experimenting. So I found this gotcha - it was as you stated early on "operator error" or rather incomplete understanding of what OM was doing. I left the note values at default and being a very literal program a note onset ever 1000ms with a duration of 1000ms is going to put values right on top of each other. What I think is odd is it did not happen on all of the notes and I guess that has to do with internal timing, transfer rates etc. So I put an exact list of four onsets spaced 1000ms and four durations of 990ms and that is just what I got in the MIDI monitor! So problem solved and I learned a great deal about both programs. This discussion has been quite valuable for me and hopefully not too big of a bother for you! Thanks so much for sharing your expertise!
