How to activate saved loops with S3 without creating a new loop

I just got the Kontrol S3 and I used to DJ with the S2. On the S2, I used to be able to hit the loop button on my controller and it would active the next saved loop. But now on the S3, it DOES activate loops, but also creates a new loop in the section of the song that is playing when I click on the button.

So, to explain futher... In the past , when I clicked the "loop" button, it had the same effect as clicking on the ACTIVE button on Traktor. Now, with my S3, when I click the "loop" button, it essentially clicks the ACTIVE button as well as creating a new loop.

Does that make sense?
