Scenes hack/trigger through Midi

Hi guys!

By now the Lock Hack "super automation" is a now thing among Maschine users.

I d like to ask if there is a similar way of "playing/sequencing" scenes through midi note within Maschine 2.0

I have tried using the same hack used to midi out/in a Lock page, but with the scenes the trick doesn't work (at least on MK2) as I get kick out from the song view.

Any help?

Thanks

G.

in my view... utilising the midi change... for either lockstates/scenes(ideas view)/section(arrangement view)

is best done on a separate controller or strictly in maschine midi-mode...

as it makes no sense to setup midi-change for use in maschine mode... as there are already buttons which allow for those modes.

The maschineJam or something like a novation launchpad are great for using midi-change.... with the novation launchpads, you will need the ability to change or configure the buttons on the 8x8 matrix to match the channels & notes if using a maschine plugin instance...(if launchpad cannot manually configure every CC/note to each button i would avoid it(launchpad mini mk1 avoid), a maschine Jam does allow for this)

i run 4 instances of maschine... each with different maschine expansion songs... with midi changes on each song, changing scenes(ideas view) at will

as the majority of songs in the maschine expansions, will have less than 16 scene changes...

so 4 multiplied by 16 equates to 64... which is the number of buttons in a 8x8 button matrix, this of course i do with a Maschine Jam in midi mode and operate it all in Reaper with helgoboss's realearn plugin...

some day ill make a recording of this... as i dont see anyone on youtube doing anything even close to the integration ive achieved with Maschine & Reaper... let alone adding virtualDJ stem remixing on top

i should have mentioned the 2 buttons on the maschineMk2 that work like midi-change...

Scene & Section on the maschine mk2

    are of course the

    Scene button & Pattern button
