Cue track C and D?

Thanks for the info. For context, what started this was needing to just listen to deck C which was loaded with a remix deck. Because say there’s a sample in there I want to play, I want to check that it’s synced correctly to whatever is playing, or to actually know what the remix sample/ loop sounds like. The remix deck is controlled by my F1, but I wouldn’t want to fire a sample without knowing how it sounds first.

obviously there’s a way around this, maybe to check the sync before the set and be really familiar with the samples. But at the moment it’s all very new and I’m just asking to make sure I’m not missing something. So I appreciate all the answers!

Ok a little update. When I opened Traktor today the cue buttons (headphones) were visible in decks C and D. Weird. So I opened Decks Layout and saw that for C and D it was set to Essential, whereas before it was set to Small.

Now I can at least hear decks C and D if I select the monitor cue on the laptop. It is always on, because I can’t turn the cue on/off like I can for A/B.

What I can’t do is control the fader using my Z1 for deck C/D, which would be obvious since the Z1 is only two channel. However, if I keep the fader full, I can control the volume of the sample/loop on my F1.

    hope that makes sense. Thanks
