I want to keep Oz9 installed especially if it Oz10 doesn't do all Oz9 can do, but I haven't compared. Can these be installed simultaneously?

Thanks.

@Jojo123 Yes you can install both on your system. They will simply show as different instances. Ozone 9 is supported from MacOS 10.11 to 11.6 and Ozone 10 from 10.15 to 13.

I briefly tried Ozone 10 standard alongside 9 Advanced, no problems but I found the standard version even though 10 much more limited so there is really no benefit in installing 10 if you have 9 Advanced

I now have MPS 6 though anyway

@Kymeia Thanks for weighing in. What Im intersted in is Audio Lens. A while back they offered it for free as a time limited promotion. I downloaded it but couldn't find definite info on using it without Ozone10 so I never installed it. It turned out it could be installed but how useful that was I couldn't find out, so its still sitting there on my Drive. Anyway Im not even sure if it would still be free, unless the installer was a unique freebie.

Ah I tried that but it annoyed me by adding its own driver which kept messing up my DAW settings

Oh, thanks for chiming in. I knew there was something Mac Owners had to

install and that made me wary at the time as well. Im on Logic, can I

    ask what DAW you're using?

    Thanks.

Try it, IZotope installers have an uninstall option. For me I found I had to keep changing back to my Fireface drivers in DAWs as it added itself as a driver and to me it was too much hassle to keep having to go into settings to do that but tbh I wasn’t that invested in using it anyway. But if you have a use for it by all means don’t let my experience stop you.
