Switching between Decks & Browser NIX1 MK3
Hello everyone, I have had the new NI X1 MK 3 since last week and I have a question. With the predecessor I pressed the encoder and the screen switched to browser mode. That is no longer the case. Can you configure that somewhere? This is really annoying, especially if you use 4 decks like I do. I thank you for your help. If someone from NI reads this, please report it and explain it or, if not available, please fix it quickly with Parch. Thanks

No, AFAIK you can't.
And currently you can't overmap it either 😡
They say they are working on overmapping, which means it might be here in 1 month or 2 years.

Are you saying that you were beta testing the X1 MK3 and that at some poing it had a Browser on the screens?

Hi no, I'm not a beta tester, but I just feel like it. It's really annoying that when you press the browser encoder you don't end up in the browser? So I'll put the thing aside for now and use my old setup again. I honestly ask myself how you can throw something like this onto the market and the simplest things don't work. and when I hear about it maybe in 1-2 months, I'll just feel even more fooled. And then I honestly ask myself why other companies (Thomann) manage to deliver the device on time and without delay and NI doesn't. No voucher for the tolerable tractor plus subscription for a paltry three months will help. I would prefer a functioning device with coordinated software. I'm sorry, but things like that really put me in a bad mood.
