Laptop and monitors

I’ve had my laptop setup between my hs5 monitors for a while and recently if my laptop goes into sleep mode when I wake it up there is a white-ish ring around the edge and f the screen. It doesn’t do it all the time and the ring will disappear in a few minutes. Last night while shutting down the laptop the screen turned grey with vertical pin stripes, only for a couple of seconds and then turned off.

any thoughts?

It’s something that used to happen with the small set of audio speakers for computer. Usually studio monitors are better “shielded”. But since you immediately hinted at monitors and screen, this came to mind.

If you think electric interferences from the monitors could be the culprit, try to avoid having them beside for a while to see if the effect disappear and have something to point the finger at
