FILTER:92 a potential bug
Hi, I have a question about FX section and FILTER:92.
Just realized a few days ago that RES (middle knob) affecting the sound (low frequency) when it not supossed to.
Let me explain a bit more.
Settings:
Filter:92 - ON
DRY/WET - fully open
HP - 0 (fully closed)
LP - 100 (fully open)
In theory the FILTER:92 should not affect sound with exact that settings.
But by changing only RES from 100 to 0 it is cutting low frequency on channel. To get back low frequency the RES need to be on 100.
Please let me know what you think about it. Is it a bug or this filter working like that.

I would try reinstalling the software check for any updates etc.

the manual seems to be wrong about that, if resonance/q is set to 50 then it's neutral, if you lower it it seems the filter gets flatter but wider, and if you raise it you get a bump and it get's narrower. If you click reset, button under the high pass, you get exactly that neutral setting. The middle button is band rejected the right one changes the filter to a continuous low pass/high pass filter where both active knobs set to 50 make it neutral. This behavior is correct but not mirrored in the manual - but I will double check that.

Note that when you click on reset (button 1) it will load your last saved snapshot (parameter values)

Ohh never noticed that - I just leave the standard preset as is, cause I want the neutral setting. But good to know - thx.

The online manual is missing the Filter:92 description. Odd. ^^

I used the traktor 2 pdf I thought the FX are the same but the PDF is wrong and the online manual is missing that filter - strange, what a coincidence

Yup, other than the fact that every Traktor Pro manual has it's very own missing or misprinted sections. ^^
