How can I get a drop down menu of sounds when viewing in rack mode?
With the exception of the "player" libraries I'm very frustrated by the fact there isn't any drop down menu for the various sounds in a particular library. All I have is the left and right arrows to blindly and slowly scroll through the sounds. Am I missing something? Thank you, Gordon

I usually just drag the whole library folder in and leave it to Quickload to display what is compatible rather than drilling down to sub folders - that way you can also see the library names more easily
I wasn’t using it for a long time as I felt it slowed performance but now I’m on a M1Max performance seems fine and can’t say I’ve really had a problem with it other than that

Do you mean like this? Add the library you want to show the instruments for to Quickload, then they will show

Thank you for your response, although I've tried for an hour to duplicate what you've done and failed - including watching 3 really lame videos. Can't drag and drop, can't add, can't seem to duplicate what you've done. I'm sure i'm missing something simple, but...

Open the quick load panel, browse to the Libraries you want to load via Quickload in Finder and just drag the folder for each library you want to show into the Quickload panel. Even if it’s closed you will now be able to browse them while in the rack

Thank you. So I got a 3rd party library to work which is huge for me. However when i tried the Kontakt 7 libraries such as Band, it didn't work like the photo you posted. Thank you, Gordon

It should do - you should just need to drag in the whole folder called 'Kontakt Factory Library 2 Library' into the Quickview window

Hi: Thank you again. I find Kontakt very strange in the way it behaves. In order to get a drop down menu for the 3rd party library "Shreddage" I have to load it in as a bank in quickload - it won't work in the instrument section of quickload. The Kontakt factory libraries will only show a dropdown menu when loaded to the instrument section of quickload, but not the bank. That is why i was having trouble because I thought they would both work the same way, but they are opposite. I also have difficulty when multiple libraries are loaded into the quickload rack. Maybe there's a logical explanation for all this, but...thank you for getting me this far.
