guitar rig 5 not recognized by plug in manager

i recently had to do a complete re-install and re-installed all my NI components with updates. i found that kontakt (7?) andguitar rig 6 had been installed over '5' and i'm wholly disappointed in what 6 has to offer. i use the piece mostly as a plug in for dry guitar recordings, so it's essential to have as many creative options as 5 offered; 6 is EXTREMELY lacking in any such improvements. i have GR5 as a standalone, but i can't seem to get my DAW (cakewalk bandlab) plug in manager to find it. any suggestions that i can rectify this are welcomed.
