How to save AND KEEP the information with a Maschine project

After some years of using Maschine, I like it very much for music "sketching". In my sketches, I want to keep text notes, preferably in the Maschine project file. I know that when a project is not in use, I can use the "edit" option in the library view to give store some information. But when I load and edit the file or make changes, this information is sometimes lost. Like so:

How come?

In fact, I'd like a simple text-editor inside maschine, so that I can save my notes inside the project and optionally open them...

Simply not there anymore. Like in a project default: no values...

I use MNotepad in every project. It loads as a VST and its free.

Thank @awol9000. This helps. Not completely free, as you say. But the 'free bundle' full functionality comes available for 49 Euros. That's worth the price considering the time it takes for NI to implement new functionality. If you subscribe to the MeldaProductions newsletter, you get a 10 Euros reduction on the purchase...
