Yes you can. It will not be very practical, since you only have about 1 and a half octave accessible at once and the modifiers keys are on very low octaves, but you can

You can Play anything with Keyboard Mode.

To get around the issue @LostInFoundation said I usually use Scale Mode, if you need fancy playing with keyswitches then you reach a wall, unfortunately.

Thanks very much, i realized that it's not the same as a keyboard but for practical rythms it's works fine

For keyswitching, a little additional 32 keys keyboard or any kind of midi controller (Jam!) works fine

If you use both of them together, they will share one Focus which also influences choice of scales and octaves.

This means, if you know what kind of scale you want to use it is advisable to choose a scale rather than play chromatically, because it offers a wider ranger of octaves.

You will have to then adjust scales and ocatve such that the Jam gives you access to the keyswitching octave while you can use the MK3 as velocity sensitive melody instrument

P.S.: should you realize that the combination of scale and targeted octave for the melody is out of range of the Jam's keyswitching octave (and the Kontakt instrument does not feature a customizable keyswitching octave) then a 32 midi keyboard where you set the octave on the hardware can serve as a keyswitching hardware controller as it does not share the octave with the Maschine controllers
