How to install the same version of Kontakt in two PCs

Hello, I would appreciate if anyone could help with my question.

I have been using just one PC to install Native Access. Now I got second PC and want to use two PCs for the time being.

I need to open the project in my second PC and I have a question. I am aware in order to open the project, the second PC needs to have the same version of kontakt (if I use 6.7.1, the other PC should have 6.7.1. If my second PC has 6.6.1 version it does not let the project to open).

However, I noticed that when I install certain version of kontakt from NA, the installer is immediately deleted. I cannot find it anywhere. Is this due to a setting? Can the installer be left in "download" folder if I change some setting??

And when I looked installed product, that version is already installed and it seems I cannot re-install the same version.

Then it triggered my question - how can I install the same version of kontakt in my second PC? Where can I find that version of installer?

Thank you!!

What version do you run on your main PC - 6.7.1? Why not just update to the latest version to make it even?

No, but while Kontakt installs, you can simply just copy the installer file and paste it somewhere else (e.g. onto an USB stick).

All Native Access downloads are ISO files which are stored in the folder assigned in your N.A. settings (downloads folder by default). Native Access then mounts the ISO for installation and when install is over the ISO is automatically deleted. This settings cannot be changed it seems. So you need to copy/paste the mounted iso file stored in downloads during installation! The good news is that N.A. can't delete it until the file copy is completed. So you just need to get it started before the install is complete.

Thank you very much!! Could you please let me know how to do this? Because I do not know where the installed will be installed, and like I mentioned, I cannot retain the installer once this has been installed because it seems the installer gets deleted the very moment it has been installed.

    Thank you!!

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. Now I understood!!

By the way, is this the official way to keep the Installer? As installation is so quick, I may fail to do this process just during the installation. Native Access officially allows two PC to install NA, and yet they do not officially provide the way to easily keep the same version of installer? Does everyone do the same when they want to keep the installer for the second PC? If I try and fail to retain this ISO file for some reason, is there any other way to get the same version of kontakt?

    Thank you very much!!!

Thank you so much everyone!! I actually did not know that NA would let the second PC install the latest (and same) version of kontakt.. simply I can install the same version on two PCs, and the extra way provided above (copy ISO while downloading) if I want to keep the installer is also such a great help to know!!

Thank you very much for your tip!!! Much appreciated!!!

I guess, one may install on three computers. But should use it as a single book. Use it on just one computer at given time.

The best way to keep versions synced is probably run NA on all computers when new version is released. But to save installer may be also good practice, if one needs to return to older version. But I am not sure if the installer is always complete one. It may be just update, not full version.

IMHO, one has pretty much time to copy ISO file. Installation might take minute or so. Also one might possibly (I am not sure) configure download folder so that files it contains is not deleteable.
