Why did NI shut down sounds.com

With over 4000 credits left on my account, I was pretty upset when I clicked on the sounds.com website to download some stems, and a nightmare happened. No more sounds.com, and the other ****** they give you is so expensive, outlandish, and ******. I might need a break from NI. Loopcloud on deck??!!

    "Why?" is a pretty good question. For there is no official answer.

    One can speculate, though. It probably just wasn't profitable enough to keep going. NI is a commercial company after all, not a welfare association. And people tend to prefer Splice or Loopcloud for sounds anyway...
