Why did NI shut down sounds.com

Jayare2160

With over 4000 credits left on my account, I was pretty upset when I clicked on the sounds.com website to download some stems, and a nightmare happened. No more sounds.com, and the other **** they give you is so expensive, outlandish, and ****. I might need a break from NI. Loopcloud on deck??!!

"Why?" is a pretty good question. For there is no official answer.

One can speculate, though. It probably just wasn't profitable enough to keep going. NI is a commercial company after all, not a welfare association. And people tend to prefer Splice or Loopcloud for sounds anyway...

Since you still had credits on your account, you may want to get in touch with NI's Support Team:
