My S88 browsing display no longer functions

Hi All
Since purchasing the S88, it's been 2 years of frustration, and on top of everything else still unresolved, (although the keyboard is usuable with work arounds) I now find that my browser screen no longer functions. ie The screens displays 'KOMPLETE KONTROL - Smart Keyboard Controller' and no amount of button pushing changes that.
I recently upgraded my sample package to 'Complete' and have installed everything, but wonder if is proving too much data to handle, yet it did work for a while. I have also upgraded to Windows 11 recently.
Of course I have, numerous times, 'Reinitialized' the Database (deleting the komplete.db3 file) but this hasn't helped and, although not strictly required, have reinstalled my 'Previews'.
If anyone can help me solve this latest issue I would be eternally grateful.

I have tried all you suggested without resolution, but yesterday, I downloaded the minimum necessary files on to my laptop and, much to my delight and bewilderment, everything worked.
Although the easiest answer now would be to say the I need a reinstall of Windows on the main PC, I should add that I have created an ISO file of a downloaded Windows 11 system and used it to repair the corrupt files that it found. A SFG scan (which I know can give a false result without the ISO action first) revealed no further issues.
My assumption is that some of my NI files may be in the 'wrong' place . ie. all my KK sample libraries are on a separate SS drive, and work, but the browser on the S88 is inactive, and my NIHostIntegratrionAgent file continues not to work until I restart it manually every time.
I'm away for another 2 weeks (from 26 July) , but I appreciate any further words of wisdom.
I have sent a system diagnostic the NI tech.

Many thanks for your response. I plan to contact them soon, if I cannot find a solution through the forum.
The reason I am hesitating is that I already have an ongoing issue, and have been waiting for nearly two weeks for a follow up to my last correspondance.
So far, they have been unable to help me, despite over 50 emails back & forth. i.e. the 'Service', NIHostIntegrationAgent (although showing Automatic and Running) needs to be restarted every time I want to use my Cubase Pro DAW - and then regularly afterwards.
In 2 years, I cannot remember the system ever working as it should. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Komplete Kontrol numerous times and done everything I can, wasting an enormous number of hours. One eventually feels drained and exhausted by the experience.

Have you tried the most basic of all comprehensive trouble-shooting ?
Try attaching the keyboard to another computer , preferably one that has plenty of resources ! And also be sure that you also use an external N.I. power supply that is OK and same goes for USB cable !

Your suggestion is one that I will try. I will be travelling for a few weeks - I need a break from it all, but it will be on the top of my to do list when I get back. After all this time, I think that I have tried everything else.

That wont be the case or everyone would be having issues, some of us have many times more data than Komplete Ultimate installed via 3rd party NKS libraries so this is usually not an issue.
First of all, you need to test this alll with Komplete Kontrol standalone and advise specifically what the issue is you see there (keyboard does not appear to be connected, no libraries appear in the KK browser etc.
I have used KK for 8 years now on 4 different systems and in all that time, I have never had it not work as it should so your experience is not normal at all.

After so long struggling to get it working as it should, I am now grasping at straws, but following a 2 week's break away from it, I plan to set up my Windows 10 Laptop with the NI files and see what gives! (We are off in an hour for a UK cruise).
As a stand alone, the KK brower on the computer functions properly and all my libraries appear as they should - and clicking on a voice successfully transfers it to the 'dumb' S88 MIDI keyboard.
I realise that it could be a Windows file corruption, but until I connect up and try my laptop, I can't be certain that it might be a communication issue with the keyboard.
You may see elsewhere that I am still awaiting a resolution to the issue the the 'Service' NIHostIntegrationAgent does not load on start up (as it is set to do) and I have to restart it manually (many times) before it allows me to use my Cubase DAW. Of course after 2 years I have lost count of the times I have reinstalled Komplete Kontrol! I long to get everything going as it should.

Glad to see that my suggestion that you try another computer were of help.
The only words of wisdom I can come up with would be that dependent upon how much you have to de-activate and re-install then a complete re-installation of Windows might be the easiest solution...
However if you have too much software and third party that needs de-activate and re-install then you might try to repair but if then prepare that it may take a lot of work to trouble shoot. Also remember that a full system backup (drive imaging backup software) , followed by a restore point and a manual backup of registry will give a fail.safe prior to any tinkering to be able to return to any previous state (if necessary using the full backup). Also if you uninstall and want to clean then try downloading the 30 days trial of Rev UnInstaller Pro and use the Forced Uninstall to check for leftovers. Using Revo UP please notice that any restore points it appear to make are only request by program to system and may not be actually made so if you need to then make additional restore points then do so manually. Also using any programs like Revo UP takes a lot of consideration and care , but if you have a full system backup then you can always revert most anything that you do !
Also... If you re-install Windows and then install something and it works then consider making a System backup of that , in fact every time that your system works as intended and you have put so much work into it that you would not like to have to make it all all over again then make a full backup of system drive !

I always keep a SSD backup of my C drive just incase, but wonder if I should take the bull by the horns and remove all NI stuff from the PC and reinstall it. Even though all the KK sample sets are on a separate SSD, there is a lot of periferal programmes on the C drive.
(It will have to wait till we get back in a couple of weeks.)
