Program Changes in VST3 host

Hi,
I'm trying to use Guitar Rig 6 in a VST Host (Steinberg VST Live). Unfortunately, I can't change Presets using Program Changes and the Midi learn is working with notes but not with PC.
Is there a solution ?
My workaround is to use Guitar Rig 5 in VST2 format instead. Luckily, I didn't start programming my presets!
Thank you for reading.

Guitar Rig 6 does not respond to MIDI program changes messages, in vst2 or vst3.

Hi Jeremi,
No need to check, the issue has been fixed today by the Steinberg team. VST Live didn't handle correctly VST2 plugins with multiple inputs, like GR5. It's been solved today with the last pre-release version of VST Live (1.2.6).
Best regards,
Jihem

IMHO in VST2 are banks you can select by Program Change. In VST3 are saved presets in a list on your hdd. So the answer is: no program change to single files.
No Program Changes in VST3 - regrettable decision

Thank you Jeremy for your clear answer.
I'm using a new Steinberg program called VST Live for my shows. It is a VST host and a backing tracks player. Guitar Rig 5 is the perfect plugin for my guitar as it responds to the Program Changes my MIDI foot controller is sending, but something really strange happens: the dry guitar sound can be heard any time, even when I lower to zero GR5 output volume. I don't have this problem with GR6 but I need Program Changes and the Loop Machine...
No problem with GR5 in standalone or in other VST hosts neither. I informed Steinberg on the forum dedicated to VST Live.
Do you have any idea of why the dry signal is output in parallel of the processed sound?
This is not a problem of direct monitoring on my audio interface, and I made sure the guitar signal is not going anywhere else.
Best regards

Hi Jeremi,
Thank you for your answer, but there's no other open track and I'm not using any direct monitoring on my audio interface. I tested with different interfaces (NI KOMPLETE Audio 6, MOTU 828 AVB and Tascam Model 12) and on different Windows computers, and the same problem occurs.
There's no other open track and I'm not using any direct monitoring on my audio interface.
If I lower the volume of the track on which I inserted Guitar Rig, both dry and wet signal disappear. But if just lower the output volume inside the GR5 plugin, I can still hear the dry sound of my guitar.
I agree with you, this is really weird!
With Cubase, GR5 works well, but with VST Live I always hear the dry signal. May I ask you to do the test? There's a Trial Version of VST Live on Steinberg's website (I'm not allowed to post links on this forum).

Many thanks!
