Maschine plus, route sound separately - Internal and micro
All,
I connected a mic in Maschine plus and I want to route it separately from the internal sounds.
To route sound I selected settings/ hardware/outputs and separate the signal that goes to headphones. This way I have 2 different outputs. One mic and another one internal.
My question is after this:
What is the best setting on each group so that I can have the best quality of the internal sound.
Normally I select in groups/outputs /Audio Aux 2 or general depending on where I want to route it .
Is this the best way? I kind of hear a lower quality of the internal, sounds .

Line Out and Headphones are both Outputs, there's no relation to MIC or Internal... those are Inputs.
The point of having separate OUT's is usually to preview sounds on the headphones before they come out of the line-out/speakers (like a DJ), or listen to the metronome only on headphones, etc, that sort of stuff.
When they are mirrored they just play the same stuff in case you don't need CUEing.

I don't really understand what you're asking, mirrored outs or not have no effect on quality. What are you trying to do exactly?

I think what he is trying to achieve is to have Maschine sounds from the main out and microphone sound from the headphone out (maybe to route it to external fx ?)
If this is the case my question is: why not routing microphone into the external fx and THEN into Maschine?

Thank you for the response :
I send the outputs of Maschine to the Bose l8 pro.
Each input in Bose l8 pro is equalized differently. One input for voice and another for music.
This is what I do :
- From Maschine: I send the voice into an input that is meant for voice . Equalized for voice singing.Bose L8 pro.
- From Maschine: I send the music to an input (Bose l8 pro) that is equalized for music.
This way I have crisp voice and nice music equalized differently using Bose built in presents which I really like.

The question is : Inside Maschine, what are the settings to route music and micro into 2 different channels.
