hello πŸ˜‰

I tested the free vst of kontakt. As soon as I play, it sizzles.

I m using fl studio.

I tried to increase the buffer, same...

I have a minifuse 2 sound card, and no worries when using analog lab vst for example

The CPU is far from being in the red.

My config:

am4 ryzen 5 5500 6x3.60GHz

16GB DDR4

Radeon RX 6700 10GB Sapphire Pulse

1000GB WD Blue SSD

An idea of the problem ?

Thx πŸ˜‰

@dadkor I hope it's ok with you if I share the solution here, after checking the status of your ticket, I saw your answer and it could help other users confronted with the same issue.

    The sizzle is gone

The problem came from the software: AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.

It is intended to ensure an automatic update of the drivers, to optimize the performance in terms of gaming in particular.

After uninstalling it, everything was back to normal.

Did you try adjusting sample rate also on top of buffer size?

What sample frequency and buffer size have you chosen?

Have you checked this article? How Can I Optimize the Performance of KONTAKT?

Also check this setting in FL Studio:

    Good morning,

Thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated.

    my problem is solved.

I tried your solutions but it didn't change my problem.

I have a rather strange problem with my pc.

    I started with abelton.

When the application was open in full screen, I had constant crackling when listening to audio (from the web and from the daw).

As soon as I minimized the abelton window, the problem disappeared.

Today, abelton works perfectly even in full screen.

Under FL Studio, the problem is similar.

When the kontakt plugin is full screen ( image 1 ), the sound sizzles as soon as it plays.

From the moment I reduce the window, the sizzle disappears. ( image 2 )

It seems that a conflict is created, at the display level, and not audio.

Is there an option in Windows, FL or Kontakt limiting this risk?

I plan to buy a collection of vst komplete during this promo. If I have to spend my time maximizing/minimizing windows when using vst, that limits my interest.

Are there currently any compatibility issues between asus (my pc) and kontakt/ Komplete?

    THANKS

Now that you add these infos, it sounds like a problem related with graphic card/directx.

Does FL have a high dpi option? Is it activated?

    Hi,

if I choose an option other than Channel 2, 24 bit 44100hz, I don't hear any sound from my pc

i checked dpi option and tried to switch my option gui. That's not solve the problem.

What setting should i use ?

Is it possible that it comes from a ground problem or any other interference (usb dongle)

I also tested using a wired mouse, just in case, because a while ago when using certain apps (discord style), the sound crackled when I moved over elements of the app .

Today, even with a wireless mouse, this problem has disappeared (due to a corrective patch perhaps).

If you need more information on my equipment or screenshots, please let me know

Thanks to the subject seriously @LostInFoundation @Jeremy_NI

I would so love to be able to take full advantage of my equipment and try your products.

What I see in your screenshot 3 are the settings for windows. You should have a look at the audio settings in FL (2nd tab)

Yeah, I looked that way too. I put a screen of the settings of the sampling of my sound card, because it was asked to me previously.

I attach some additional screen of kontakt options

    Good morning,

The crackling returned. When opening the sound window, if it remains in full screen, the crackling is present. It disappears when I reduce the window.

I installed the vsts on an ssd with the exception of one: Irish harp

I use this sound as a test to rule out the possibility that it comes from my SSD (crucial mx500 4TB).

I defined in native access the path in which I placed this sound.

When using this sound, the crackling sound is still present.

Can you confirm that I have placed the sound somewhere other than the SSD?

It's possible that this is coming from my graphics card and drivers which are saturating the interface with sounds. I will contact an IT specialist to be sure.

Do you have any other suggestions for me in the meantime?

    THANKS @Jeremy_NI
