Do I really have to redownload 1 TB of instruments when I have them all on the external hard drive?
Support is extremely slow, so I am hoping someone here can help.
I have all my instruments (ultimate 12) on an ext drive but cannot get native access to 'see' them on my new machine. I had the application on the drive but saw that I should keep that to default on a video so tried to change back and am getting this:
Can anyone help? Would love to know what the fix is...

Hi @jeremys
If you still have access to the files on your old system, you can follow these steps:

If not, you would need to relocate your Kontakt Libraries one by one by following these steps:
For your Expansions, we have created the following workaround (macOS only):
The steps are:
download and extract the zip archive
copy-paste the plist files to [Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences]
restart/refresh NA
use "relocate all" to point NA to the folder containing all of the expansions

Thanks so much for this Rich — I have moved my previous computer to another location so I don't exactly have access but could get to it if I really need to. I will try the second link you offered and relocate them one by one.
Am I right in assuming that all the software and files can be located on an ext drive? I did read that the application itself should be local?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi @jeremys
All applications should be kept in the default location:
Macintosh HD > Applications > Native Instruments
We would also recommend using the default VST locations, as when you perform updates via Native Access, the updated versions will always be installed there.

Thanks Rich, I added them one by one following the instructions above....and it's working now.
