Can Komplete Audio 6 MKII receive Sysex?

I've noticed that I can send Sysex dumps from Komplete Audio 6 MKII to my MIDI hardware, but it doesn't receive Sysex when I initiate a Sysex from the hardware to the MKII.

I have checked that I am using a MIDI cable that works; in fact, I can use the same cable for MKII to hardware dumps, but it does work the other way around. I have also made sure that I can send and receive MIDI messages from and to the MKII, even with the same cable. Lastly, I can connect an Akai MPK249 to my computer, and using the same cable, I can send and receive MIDI messages and Sysex without any issues.

I use the MKII on a Linux laptop, and while I feared that maybe there is a compliance issue, the fact that the Akai controller works flawlessly leads me to believe that there isn't an issue at all.

Is this a limitation of the Komplete Audio 6 MKII that is not documented anywhere? Is this something that can be accessed and turned on in some way?

If with the Akai the mk2 receives Sysex, it means it can. At this point I would think that is the other hardware that can’t send it

The Komplete Audio 6mk2 can send and receive sysex. Maybe something to do with the software you are using to receive the said sysex? Also, Linux is not supported.
