problems recoding mix s4mk3

Hi all

I have a problem trying to setup to record mixes

laptop is running win11,

In the Tractor output routing window, I can select main/booth as the source for the recording, but this then causes the output master selection to become "not connected"

When I then select main/booth in output master it then changes my output record back to not connected -- IE i cannot have both master and record to be from booth/main

any ideas?

What error do you get when you start a recording with -not connected- select?

Is also the source set to Internal in Mix Recorder?

yes I’ve followed all the steps in that link

been trying to get this to work for weeks- starting to think might be hardware issue eg laptop sound card or something

Laptop sound card shouldn’t be the culprit, since you are using the S4 audio interface. Are you?

I just tried recording a mix with the output record set as "not Connected"

It actually records fine on that setting! - I never even tried it before with "not connected" selected.

Doesn't make sense but it works
