Move k4 from win7 to win 8

Hi I have an old kontakt 4 version on a win 7 laptop but would like to move it to a win 8 laptop before I decommission win 7. I can see product serials on native access v1 but nothing else? Ok what I haven't researched is, as I have kontakt player 6 and session strings and Sam's free orchestra, do I need k4 any longer. Thanks in advance

It depends if you have instruments requiring Kontakt full version instead of player version. And depending on Kontakt 4. Or if you are still using Kontakt 4 to build your own instruments (player is limited in this aspect)

If you have instruments working on k4 which run only on full version and not on player, yes, you still need it
