@Ap1ao Some of these issues were solved with the latest version of Native Access (3.2.0). Are you still experiencing it after the update? Then we'd recommend to contact our specialists here: http://bit.ly/NIsupport_install

I thought I found out the root cause - I used Chinese characters in the windows account username. Never Do That Again!!!
Anyway, thanks a lot for your support again.

Meet the same problem... I have also used Chinese username. May I ask how you resolved it in the end?
P.S.: Can NI fix this issue officially?

From what I understood, a new version of NA cannot coexist with the previous NTK Daemon and it is compulsory once new version of NA is installed to reinstall NTK Daemon from the new package

Here on macOS, NA installs the dependencies EVERY SINGLE TIME, no matter whether NA gets updated or not. Surely this is something that could be fixed?

quite easy, just create a new account with english name - login that new account and install the software, then you can also use it in your Chinese usename account.
let me know if any further question.

The new Native Access has disappointed me. The more advanced the software, the more bugs, and the more permissions required. Very troublesome.
Don't let us spend too much time and worry on software, thank you.
Old software cannot install Kontakt and Komplete Start - Irish Harp.
After successful installation, when logging in to the software again, an error message will appear. There are no files on the hard drive and it is empty. I have to reinstall it again, which is a vicious cycle.

I surely wish NI would create a fix for it. The number times I've had to go through the necessary but fiddly rigmarole of 'fixing' this error message pop-up this year is thoroughly irritating. I simply don't understand why on earth NI cannot factor an NTKDaemon uninstall/reinstall protocol into the update package every time Native Access is updated (which, let's face it, is a fairly regular occurrence).
I don't mind software requiring updates, and in most cases that process is fairly commonplace, and usually tends to be mostly automated, beyond a couple of mouse clicks here or there to confirm/activate the process. But dealing with this added frustration of having to put one's Self-Help IT Support hat on almost every single time NA updates is becoming profoundly tiresome. Sure, it gets that little bit easier every time, thanks to "learning through repetition", but frankly we shouldn't have to keep applying a FIX every other damn month.
