extending sounds

when I add a group if I want a certain sound to be extended is there a way to do so?

    what sound from what instrument, a sample, a synth sound?

    so if i have a sound on a preloaded group and take that sound to keyboard mode each octave changes the length. is there a way to stop this

    Then i guess you mean a sampled sound in maschine sampler module. And you can't avoid it not really easy. You can enable the amp envelope by changing from one shot mode to adsr, then play a higher note and set adsr with no attack, sustain and no (little) release, just set decay that it barely cuts the sound, if you know you always use notes of the same length you can just use sustain fully ooen and a bit of release. If you then play a lower note it should be also short. If you need it perfectly you have to use kontakt, for example, and load the sample there and change sampler mode to time machine.
